by the way when i said worth it i meant is it worth it compared to other standalones for a similar price. i know i would rather have a standalone over piggybacks

It depends on you tuning abilities, just think that everything your ECU does is now going to be controlled by you. I imagine a lot of people could get their car to run better with a piggyback and a logger.

will if you have an extra 300 bux get a wideband o2 sensor and just let it tune itself. it pretty good tuning and the software for auto tuning just came out from AEM. it is easy to use if you know about the values etc etc. it is way better. it replaces so much that you can sell like your stock ecu, boost controller (manual or electronic), studder box, hks vpc, you can convert from maf to map or speed density, and your apex s-afc. a very wise decision.

autotune option is out and it is reportedly working well..... But exactly what are you learning with it??

I don't kNow, i had ems for a while and its not a very difficult setup, but I got rid of it and haven't been on top of things. I highly doubt it would create a optimum tune, might get you in the area. It would be nice for shops to have and let their customers use but I wouldn't purchase one.

Regardless, Manny dosen't have a running car so its stil a load of crap.

he claims to have hookups to IRC RACE cores. he guaranteed that the kit he was selling is identical to the IRC one, and that it'll be at my doorstep in 2.5 weeks max. he seemed legit on the phone, so i went ahead and sent him money. that was back in sept....wtf!?!?!?! up to this point i received a darkside racing fmic (which is $h!t compared to an IRC RACE CORE) and NO PIPING!! he was giving me excuses about why i haven't received my piping and such. now he's ignoring my phone calls and emails. don't believe anything this guys says. everything he says is pulled out of his a$$!!! don't buy anything from him either. he'll send you crap or nothing at all!!!!!

I was running EMS 0001 before they were comercially available for about a month. Sold it to Manny. He has no friends at AEM, which is where he claims he got it.
