Ok, i think i was running way to rich, i have a potentiometer on the air intake sensor and barometric sensor, i tryed to lean it out as much as i could and it would still be rich, so i hacked the mass air, alot! I started the car with the knob as lean as it could go, the car didnt want to run, so i tryed to make it as rich as possible, the cars idle started to come around and was fine. Before no hacked mas, the o2 voltage was a lowest of.95 and .93 top of 3rd as lean as it could go, now with hacked mas it is about .93 -.95 as rich as it can go and the car runs much better than it did before, less knock. Do you think i should add a 5k or 10k resistor on top of the potentiometer so the pot can be close to a nuetral position and the car will idle and act normal, that way i have more tuning(lean/rich) because now i can just lean it out, cant richen it up much, its almost all the way up. So far im happy with the way it runs, without a hacked mass air it was a pig and lots of knock. Thanks for the input. The car also seems to spool up much quicker than before.

Has anyone hacked there own mas, without a afc? What resistor should be used to make the car run close to normal, i have a 10k potentiometer in line, but will a resistor work better.
