Crappy Idle

As soon as i start my car it just wants to die!! I have to keep giving it gas until it will hold an idle and then it sound REALL ROUGH!! And sometimes starts to raise and drop the rpms.
What could cause this? Better yet how could i fix it???

Sounds like you might have several problems, not just one.
First step is to make sure that you have a good set of wires and correctly gapped plugs.
Then check to make sure you don't have any boost/vacuum leaks.
Then make sure your base timing and idle speed are correctly set.
Compression test to make sure you don't have a bad cyl.
Check that the ISC coils are good and that the ECU hasn't suffered capacitor leakage.

These are just a few things to start with. There are lots of others.

the wire are new and i gapped the plugs to spec.
timing is correct but im not sure about the idle setting, seems to be low to me but im not sure what its supposed to idle at.
everything else sounds good, i know i have a vacuum leak. i took it to a shop and the manhandled my car!! they didnt hook up the rest of the vacum lines, and i have been looking for a good diagram to put them back wherer they go.

and i just replaced my ecu also because of the capictor leak.

I would say it sounds like a big boost leak. Or maybe your mas sensor isn't plugged in.

Better yet get rid of the vaccums you can. Go to www.taboospeedshop.com and look under tips or something like that. Martin has a diagram on there as well as the removal instructions.
