I was just about to purchase a logger from dsmloggers.com (looks like a pretty good deal) but then I thought about something. Do these kind of palm pilots have a backlight to them or ya know do they light up at all so the screen will be visible at night time? I believe its the palm m100 model that they ship normally. Thanks in advance to anyone.

Thanks a lot for the info. Ebay looks like it has a hell of a better deal. I wonder how fast the backlight on them drains the battery i.e. a day, week,. I dunnno.

it all depends on how long you use it, the palm has a built in meter that tells you how much battery life is left. I would invest in a good rechargable battery. Mine usally drain after 2 weeks.
