need some help with AFC II

ok i got the afcII and hooked it up with only one problem.. i couldnt figure out where to tap the purple knock sensor wire? also once i started the car the afc was reading knock and no throttle. i know i hooked up the throttle but im not gettin any reading.. and i DIDNT hook up the knock buti am getting reading!?!? i check it all over a dozen times and cant figure it out. also my knock is reading between 50-68 counts at any rpm... any and all help is appreciated- thanks

Even with the knock wire hooked up it is not accurate. A logger will tell you your true knock value.

i just think its wierd that its reading knock but i never tapped the wire on the afc for the knock sensor.

He's right you cant use it on a 2g. Mine read like 56 counts when not hooked up so I changed it to read battery voltage instead.

wait... so the knock doesnt work on the afc II in a 2g? the wire designated for the knock sensor coming from the afc was just taped off. i never plugged it in at all yet im still gettings reading between 45-68 counts of knock? i figured since its not plugged in i should get nothing.
