F.P. Rewire, VFAQ shows 2g Spyder. Its 98 AWD gonna be the same procedure?

? Or are there more parts or anything I will need?

from looking at the fuel pump installs it appears the AWD and FWD fuel pump is in the smae place so yes it appears itd be the same.

ok, my fuel pump has 3 fuel lines goin into it, not 2 like pictured for the sypder. I also have a bigger electrical plug on the pump. ? Anyone got a howto on an AWD 2g pump?

Don't bother with the other hoses.. just remember where they go.

Splice the fuel pump WHITE plug that goes into the fuel pump.

You want to get the Black wire with a GREY stripe in it for power.


The BIGGEST black wire is the ground... that's all you have to worry about. I was kinda hoopty and happy and cut the smaller colored wires just thinking the electrical was like my 1g and the other elec. wires in my 2g.. but it turned out to be the wrong wire.. I think those sense the level of fuel in the tank, as mine just died when I did that. Had to re-splice that set of wires.. pain in the @#$@#$!

I used this to do the F.P. rewire. The white electricle thing is the same.
