ECU has a burn spot, car is missing,only runs strong under boost.

Is there any way the ECU is to blame for the car to have a miss only under moderate load and when under load with turbo boost up it blows black smoke. Could a burned board on the ECU cause all this. If so who has the best price on a new one. I have replaced the MASS allready with no change at all.

hehe if the ecu has a burnt spot i think its safe to say its time for a new ecu... i'd check around the board for parts cars for a new ecu.. they get pricey from a junk yard... from what i understand 1gs seem to blow capacitors in the ecu causing the miss.... just my 2 cents.... the black smoke is a whole nother game... id say from running too rich....
