For anyone that wanted to go and couldn't. Sorry you missed a good day. We had 28 cars and divided everyone into 2 groups to keep waiting on line down to a minimum. ran three passes then the second group would go out. make three passes and alternate. after the corvette club was done with there points event by 1:30 it was sort of a free for all to just get in line and run. Good food good laughs. Weather was clear and somewhat hot with some cloud cover.
My dsm suffered no issues other then getting a little warm during the hottest part of the day. There was only one other dsm in attendence and it was a GSR-4 with some bolt ons that was sitting in a field for almost 2 years and given to a friend who got it running semi decent, put ten miles on it and decided to flog on it yesterday all day. Other cars included a 6.0liter gto, numerous vettes, numerous subarus, an 80's oldsmobile cutlass, turbo hondas, ford focus, turbo mustang, evo 10, cobalt ss turbo, lexus is250, civic si n/a,
I will start another event thread soon following date confirmation but the next event is scheduled for october 30th rain or shine. And we will also have a halloween theme so come in costume and decorate your cars as well!!!
