Help in South Jersey - 08054
Please help - anyone that has done a 6bolt swap that can make it here and help finish mine - please let me know.
I'm located about 10-15 minutes from camden. The engine is out of the car, on the stand with the head torqued down on the block. Water pump and timing needs to be done, and then alot of little things, like the alternator, oil drain, knock sensor, power steering, things like that.
Please let me know if you can come through, pm me or reply to this please!
Help needed bigtime, this car is my daily driver, and has been down for 3 months!

ok got it started but i have a problem...number one...theres no clutch pedal pressure...the clutch either goes all the way to the floor or all the way up...i dont know how to adjust it or what the problem is
number two...one of the power steering pulleys is rubbing on a bolt, causing it to heat up and spark...i dont know wether or not to just let the pulley go, and rub the head of the bolt far enough down that it stops sparking, or how to get the bolt removed so that it doesnt spark...any ideas, or would u want to come figure these two things out...other than that i just need to tap some holes in the front of my car to hang the bumper from and im drivin on down the street.
let me know what you think

got that clutch working
today i went to take the car around the block, and everything was good except i broke one of the coolant lines i had fabbed to the turbo...car started bucking and shut off.
i plan to get it towed to a shop in berlin unless someone on here can help me with the rest...here's what my problem(s) is/were
broken coolant line(the rubber part not the metal)
like a 1500+ idle
bucking under load (but i think that was due to the bov not being set right)
too much power steering fluid(i think the rest just ended up leaking out, and thats not a big issue any more)
if you or anyone else can come through tomorrow or the next day, and fix it, and make it driveable ill throw u some cash...id rather help out a fellow dsmer than just any ol shop...let me know

Hey man, you got this far just finish the job up. Fix your coolant line (just run new 3/8" heater hose), fix your boost leaks (most likely causing your very high idle and shitty performance while driving, and tighten up your power steering. That's only another 2-3 hours to reward yourself with a car you fully built yourself.

I actually ended up fixing the coolant line, and there was a boost leak at the TB elbow, fixed that just by tightening, but the idle was still nutso, I mean it went down, but was still like 1300. Power steering I tightened, but it was still acting crazy...so I drove it out to the shop(with no front bumper lol) and they said they'll fix that in the next couple of days.
I say I still built it myself, Tom, shop just helped, very lightly I may add.

haha damn right Tom...once it's back we gotta catch up...I'm tryina get a CF hood like you too bruh!
TurboJoe - PM me. If you could come down one day, I'm sure the shop wouldn't mind if I mess with the car myself (with you) and if you could get it running right you'd be my SAVIOR man
Like I said, all thats left is the PS, and the idle(plus bucking)
After that's figured out, it's driveable, and I just gotta get that front bumper back on!
Thanks man lmk!

Oil gauge and temp gauge not working...i dont think it's a bad wire in the harness, but the oil sending unit is brand new, and idk
I'm going to just purchase a new oil sending and coolant temp sensor, throw them in and that should work just fine
Idle is still crazy, but i just saw im missing a clamp on the LICP side of my FMIC so i'll put that on, and see whats up...clean up a couple of vac lines, and go from there...
tom, you have any ideas other than the sensors of why those two gauges would'nt work?
