need recommendations for North Jersey shop

I'll tell you where you shouldn't go, Redline performance, Turbo trix.

You should do it yourself though, it's hard to trust any mechanics in NJ . My whole family and I have had bad experiences with mechanics there. I've worked and been in a few places and I 've never seen a reputable spot. My gramps was a mechanic and you don't even want to know how he works on cars . Hammer is his favorite tool.

I haven't dealt with them but on the other hand dsmotorsports seems good. Seems.

thanks man ill check them out.....by the way dsmmotorsports no longer does service...they only sell parts now

u can try elite auto in hamilton nj its right outside of trenton they do very good work for a reasonable price ask for nick hes been around DSM's for over 15 years

i emailed the shop...the quoted me $400-$500 to install the manifold and o2 housing...hahahaha

Contact Mike directly. He charged me $250 to install my exhaust & downpipe, including extending it to fit with a Galant (longer chassis), and welding up my muffler & resonator. 1320 is his second gig so he's not there during normal business hours.

I know this is an old thread, but yeah if you want DSM work in Northern NJ go to Broadway Performance in Passaic. The owner John is a DSM expert. I got my car tuned by him, he did a custom external wastegate for me, and tweaked up a few other things. I'll be having him do some more stuff in the near future, but he's a cool guy and knows everything about DSM's..
