I use them.

Hey thanks for replying.
I read a post of yours sometime back and then could not find it again, about you having the wilwoods.

I have a set of GN calipers the old style they are the 6 piston calipers and would like to use them on my car as these have a lower profile and maybe I could go to a smaller wheel.

What model do you have and how did you mount them.

Thanks

I use the Wilwood Forged Superlight (FSL), which to my knowledge are the only affordable, big enough calipers I've found in the Wilwood range that still approximate the stock calipers in piston ratio. That ratio is 1:1.08, stock to FSL.

Stock 2g DSM front - 42.9 piston dia., 2889 p. area.

Wilwood Forged Superlight - 44.5 piston diameter, 3109 piston area.

I had brackets milled from steel.

Could you do me a favor and go to wildwoods web page and look up the GN calipers and see if by the mounting spread which is 6 in. just like mine, the brackets you have would work .

Thanks
