New Perma-torque Plus HG

I'm gonna be using a 2.4 block and either going 2.2 or 2.4 but either way I want to pick up one of these new Perm-Torque Felpro gaskets and use some L19 head studs but don't know wether to get a Hg for a 2.0 or a 2.4 or if there is some special one you have to get. If someone is using one with a 2.4 stroker or destroked build and could give me a part number that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Well if your using the 2.4 block it wouldnt be a "2.4 stroker" it would be a "2.4" Your not stroking the 2.4 to anything. lol

I talked to alex before about this and he told me you can run a 2.0 gasket on a 2.4 block it hangs over alittle but not enough to be an issue. Im not sure about this or if i would do it. Currently i am running a regular g4cs composite felpro on my 2.4. Had the sucker on 29 30psi on c16 and 24-26 on pump and still no issues what so ever. I acually got most of the stuff for the new setup "gt4294/ on-green performance manifold/ 044 pump/ jays racing altenator relocation kit, so we will see how far i can go on a arp/composite felpro/ non o ringed head before she lets go lol. Jut gotta get it on and get the 4" turbo back v-band setup made.

Leave it to carver lol. Yeah I didn't mean to say 2.4 stroker as it would be a 2.3 stroker not 2.4 and that wouldn't use a 2.4 block anyway.

Anyway yeah I may just try and use the 2.0 hg and some l19 studs. As long as the Hg matches up with the block it should be good but I wanted to make sure you didnt have to use a special gasket. I'm not even gonna risk using a regular felpro gasket. Besides I can get the perma torque plus hg for free

im pretty sure the 2.0 gasket works just fine. I put a 2.0 composite down on my 2.4 block and it seemed to fit fine. I don't really think it hangs over anymore than it does on a 2.0 block, but I could be wrong. the perma-torque may also hang over more than a composite gasket on a 2.0 or 2.4. I'm going to be using the same gasket(permatorque) on my 2.4 block(g4cs) so I will post pics unless someone beats me to it.

I was debating about that too but I think that's part of the reason for using this. Mate this gasket with a set of l19's and your set for just about anything you can throw at it

just to answer the question, a felpro MLS is a 87mm bore, the g4cs is a 86.5mm bore, .20 over nets a 87mm bore. so yes it does work, I have one on my build.
