Want to stroke 6bolt 4G63 - Part #s needed

Ok fellows, i'm thinking about making this car a 2.3 with that 4G64 crank. Now the questions.

Is the 4G64 crank any good?... is it forged and how much power was already made on it? What is the ORIGINAL part number for a FORGED 4G64 crank that will fit my 6bolt 4G63 motor?... How much bigger is the stroke compared to the stock 4G63 stroke?...

Is there any modifications needed other then grinding the 4G63 girddles?... is there a 4G64 forged crank that will fit in the 4G63 6bolt motor without any grinding?... Is grinding that girddle weakening the strenght of the motor?

I understand that i will need to get pistons from SBR or whatever... but i'm really looking forward to this....

Thank You for your answers, greatly appreciate it.

-Tom

Sorry for the late response, hope it's still useful to you or others.

It increases the stroke from a stock 88mm to 100mm.

Yea, you'll want to port the oil relief hole (if you remove balance shafts and/or oil squirters) and pound out the oil pan. Here are some details...

Oil Relief ole

Oil Pan
