Balance shafts in 2.3,2.4 and problems?

Some machine shops like Jackson machine say you have to use balance shafts in the 2.3 and think 2.4 engines?
I also think other shops like magnus take them out.
So lets here if you have them or not and if you have had any problems from taking them out.Mileage on your 2.3 or 2.4 would be nice to know also. And if you have had any problems like broken cranks some extra detail.

I currently have a G4cs 2.4 with no balance shafts and fluidampr balancer.I did not balance my engine at all. I had no clutch and flywheel when did the motor yet and heard you had to do it all at once. And figured would be changing out clutches a few times anyway.
My mirrors dont' shake much at all at idle,Engine is pretty smooth to around 3500 and a bit of vibration or resonance past that but again mirrors are clear and inside of car is not being shook apart.I have energy suspension poly inserts in front and back rollstops only currently. One new rubber stock mount driver side and rubber older stock mount on passenger side.

I have around 1600 miles on the car since getting it going with the 2.4.No problems so far.

I spun a balance shaft bearing on the 2.0 in addition to the rod bearings so I didn't have them put back in on the 2.3. Oil pressure has been solid, but not excessively high. The motor has 2500 miles on it, has seen upwards of 28 psi with no issues thus far. I have slight vibrations at idle from having the shafts removed, but no other issues. Compression is 175-175-175-180 on an 8.8:1 compression ratio with Comp 200's. I typically shift at a max of 7000-7200 RPM. The motor was also internally balanced.

I say good riddance and it's one less thing to worry about.

One of the balance shaft were an "interference" fit with my 2.3 stroker. I tried to leave the shafts in there. They actually look like they will fit until you spin the motor over...then THUD. It would take a serious amount of grinding of the shaft to allow the crank to clear the shafts which would remove any confidence that a balance would still exist. I would be interested in knowing how someone is keeping the balance shafts. It likely requires clearancing the crankshaft and that's quite a bit of material.
