2.3l help

I have a quick question for you guys, this will be my first stroker all my other build ups were 2.0's. And looking around I see that some people are using stroker style pistions for there 2.3l while others are using normal pistions and rods for there 2.3 with the 100mm crank. So my question is this if you dont wanna use the stroker pistions do you have to use long rods? Or can you just use the normal pistions and rods and the 100mm stroke give you the 2.3l? Just so you know I have a block punched .20 over this is going in thanks for the help every one!

For 2.3L strokers, you use a 4G64 crank, stock 6-bolt length rods, and stroker style pistons. 2.4L strokers and I believe 2.1L de-stroked use the "long rods". You need the 2.3L sroker pistons though. So to sum it up http://www.slowboyracing.com/shop.php?sid=&cat=2553 , there you go just click on what stage you want, and it tells you whats included. I would recommend stage 2.
