my issue is the gauge stop working. i been looking in my manuel and i cant find how to test to see if my fuel leveler in the tank is good and what would else cause it. its in a 98 gst.

and im using a chilton manual if it in there on what page.

thank you

Now I don't have an answer to your question but I feel it would be easier to help if you clarified something; by stopped working you mean that all of a sudden when driving it or at start up it just buried the needle at E? I had a Cavalier that would bury the needle on F when it was low and that was like a $200 part so I never fixed it.

sorry about that it started when i discounted the battery one day now its stuck on e and wont move but some times the low fuel lights comes on and it has half a tank or so

Try taking your floater out and moving the floater up and down and watch the gauge while you do this.....same thing happened to me did that then went to put gas and problem got fixed maybe you'll get lucky too LOL
