So I was going to get a room for MOD, and price wise wanted to know if anyone wanted to share a room with me and my old lady?

If no one wants to stay and they have an extra bed for us then that would be cool too.

The few I have found are about 130.00 a night, hence the sharing to make it cheaper for everyone.

hotels found out about MOD 05 and kept an eye for MOD 06....much like vegas when the supras invade or any holiday or spring break....RAISE THE RATES!!!

Um...if anyone is in ABSOLUTE DESPERATION for a room and don't mind crashing on my futon in my living room, you are more than welcome to.

There is a Motel 6 almost next door to the MOD location, and its right next to a jack in the box. Last I checked rooms were $39.95/night

well I dont know much about looking for hotels and picking which is better. But if its anything like a DSM "you get what you paid for" then I really dont want to go with a 50 dollar hotel and be in the ghetto. So if someone wants to get a really good hotel and we can split the cost send me a pm and we can arrange something.

A good DSM buddy of mine is coming in to town for the first time in over a year and we're going to get his DSM ready to make the drive back out to Norfolk, where's he based. He's spent the last six months in Cuba working pretty much every day, so I figure he could use a break.

This thread was for last years MOD.

I will start another thread for rooms when we get closer to the actual date. We will probably stay the same place we have stayed the last two years. I want to say it is an Amerisuites, but I am not sure off the top of my head. It is right around the corner from MOD and has decent rooms with wireless.

Hey, looking for rooms here as I want to book them before they fill up. Last year I stayed in a ghetto hotel, almost as a motel 6. not bad for 60 dollars a night but this time im looking for something that has at least internet+ breakfast or something nice. So far I found Best Western Cypress Inn & Suites located at 7161 Katella Avenue Stanton, CA 90680-2806 and is 0.8 Miles East of 6400 Katella(MOD). Their 120 a night wich is not that bad since Its gonig to be split into 4 people . Just wondering what others that travel or have better expericne with hotels would recoment.
