Lol i had to read the thread title at least two times on this one, I was like WTF . As Shorty mentioned Im from Yuma, Az also. If you havnt been here yet get ready for a hot hot summer comming soon. I no longer have my DSM since I sold it and got replaced by the Evo, but I do however have a couple DSM friends intown. Also its not a very big town but its not small either, dont expect alot of DSM love tho, mostly all of them are from MCAS people so their not always on the road or even intown. Let me know when you in town and we can get together and take a look around town :rocks: . If you happen to arive at the Yuma Palms Shopping center and go by Chili's and see the Evo, well thats me :D .

I have been in town for a few days now.

I have definatly noticed a lack of dsm's here, seen several wrx's though, and ALOT of rice.

You can give my cell a ring sometime, number is 316 461 8312 (ill get a local number when my contract expires in sept)

Ill be checkin out the Sunday night cruise tommorow if you get out to that, otherwise ill catch ya latter.
 
Lol damm I forgot to check back into this thread.we could haved hanged out sunday since I was off from work. How did you like sunday night?off all the nights I didn't go.
 
Sun night was pretty much what I expected, a hand full of fast cars, one quick honda, and plenty of slow guys that think they are the shit.

Not much of any action went down last night, but at least I meet a few people down there.
 
Wichita? SNAP! Wish I would have caught this thread before you moved! I just bought a set of wheels from a Galant owner in Wichita. I'm paying close to $100 to ship them out to Phoenix. Maybe I could have swung a deal with you for transport. :p

I escaped the Air Capitol about 5.5yrs ago. Used to live off Central and Ridge over on the wesside. Worked in Derby. I've yet to make it to Yuma, but I've not heard anyone with much positive to say about the place. Haha. One of these days, you'll have to roll up to Phoenix to hang out with the crew up here.

Shoot i wouldn't have had room for one extra wheel in my car, let alone 4.

Ill deffinatly have to roll back up to Phoenix from time to time though, with my arrival in Yuma, the dsm crowd is probably up to whopping total of about 4 or 5.

And i thought wichita had a small racing scene, at least they had some dsm respect (probably from getting spanked by some of my friends up there).
 
jeremylee welome to yuma and the hot days here LOL im a buddy of dyablo i drive a 99gsx and i work at chilli's too yep there a lot of rice here and chinese food too to go with it LOL but yeah not much dsm love here hope to c u around
 
im here in Yuma Arizona now..well stationed here at MCAS...but there are like 4 or 5 dsm on base i can tell you that much
 
Hmm if I can recall there are like 10 DSM in Yuma, but not all are here often or even modify then. There are 2 red/burgundy (sp) gst and gsx lowered on yokahama ES100 tires. 2 more white 2gb spyders. 2 red 2gb spyder. 2 more silver 2gb GSX and GsT. 1 of the silver gst lives on base and is/was broke a few weeks back. And like 3 1g. And like 3 Evos in town including mine :D .
 
Hey whats up. My names Jose, from here in Yuma. I make up the majority of the DSM's in Yuma. I have (2) 1gs(GST and GSX) both black and also have a 2g(GST)in red. Us dsmers need to get together here in Yuma and represent. Pure rice down here. How about a track day? Mexicali anyone...Juan, Jesse? So what happened after all to the gsx Jesse? Peace

Jose, whats going on havnt heard from you since MOD :thumb: . Anyways we should get together someday and represent. About a track day well umm ## a little late today(sunday) my buddies went over to Mexicali for the night. I didnt get a chance to take the evo becuase Im leaving to PHX tonight. Further note Jesses GSX should be running soon, all it needs is a new head gasket and some arp bolt. Send me a pm with ## phone number so i can get a hold of you sometime.

what up man, yea I limped home that same day from MOD after we went to SD. Yea I meant another night if we could get a bunch of Dsms together. Any of you other local dsms interested? We can always hit up cruise night instead.
 
Damn it Jeremy you got a job yet? We need to run the 1gs against each other at the track. Jesse, blown head gasket? Glad to hear it will be running soon. Waiting for my next check to buy a clutch so I can start putting the 2g back together. If You guys need some help with the headgasket let me know.

I know this is old thread but how about all us yuma guys get together friday night. We can meet across the street from the jack and the box on 4th. haha And make fun of the rice. By the way my names Brandon. I drive a White 95 TSI AWD.

Dont think I have ever seen a white TSI here, did you just move into town?

I will let the other two main people in this thread (dyablo - Juan and GsxAZman - Jose) know about the post. I work friday nights and wont even see yuma until about midnight (I work out on YPG); that and I dont have my DSM anymore, have me an Audi TT Quattro, but dont worry I will be gettting me another dsm to play with soon enough.

Both Juan and Jose are pretty good guys though, and between the three of us we have alot of dsm knowledge. If you all do meet up and are still around that late Ill try to swing by town on friday night though.

Nah I have been here for 3 years. But I got my Talon in Nov. from someone on base. Yea I really want to get to know some DSM'ers here in town. So if anyone wants to hook up my # is (928)271-1465.
 
Hey I was out and about last Friday at jack on fourth street. Was there with my Evo and a friends yellow evo. The white sti was also there chilling with use. And two 300Z TT one from a person who moved in from NH. Good turn out but this coming friday i have to work so I wont be there but the rest will.

As you can see I no longer own the GST either got ride of it for the EVO. Still a 4g63t tho so if you ever see a graphite grey Evo thats me.
 
Actually there is another graphite Evo rolling in the foothills, but his is the one with "turbo" on the license plate.

By the way, when is the next day you are off Juan, we haven't hung out in forever.
