Im wanting to attend UTI down there sometime in the next year to year and a half. I would however like to take a trip down there and see just how the atmosphere is and what it would be like for a weekend or so. Granted I have no relatives or family down there. So no one to pick me up from the airport and such. I dont want to go down there and just sit around and sight see by myself. So if any dsmer is up for having another one fly in and show them around pm me.

im trying to get back out there myself right now and its tough but itll happen!

I did the same thing back in 2005 and I am glad I moved here. Wasn't the best decision for school though. There are so many other college's out there that will teach you so much more. I went to a junior college before I attended UTI and UTI by far was less in depth than my other schooling. Too political there. You can't actually work on a car anymore for "liability" reasons. They use that word a lot. Wouldn't even allow us to change spark plugs because they are liable if we strip the threads on our own car. Research some other schools first.

damn dude we were neighbors..... i lived in newport apts from aug 04-nov05
I lived right across from the mailboxes..... If u ever saw a silver 1st gen GSX (popups ) with FMIC, exhuast etc that was mine.... thing had 68k original on it....and was a complete 100% virgin when i got it out there..... damn i miss that car!
