Help! need a DSM Mechanic in Phoenix AZ.

I have a problem, I'm needing to get a balance shaft eliminator kit installed. Also needing to find out how much. This is on a 2g. I'm still in the process of learning the whole entity of DSM, and don't know how to do this process yet. According to the symtoms it's the balane shaft giving me problems, would like to also find out if there is anyone local that sells these balance shaft eliminator kits. He's located in Phoenix and has pretty much every stock part you can imagine for a 4G63T. Prices are excellent and delivery is prompt as can be. I was on this site just last night around midnight and he has the balance shaft eliminator kit available.

I have no experience working on a 4G63 aside from replacing the alternator and installing a head, but I have a 4G63T project I am picking up in New Mexico next month which will be getting this same balance shaft removal, so I would be interested in stopping by to lend a hand/watch when the time comes, if that was okay.

Your friend who suggested you join a DSM forum was absolutely right. You do meet more DSMers this way. Only thing is, now you get the DSM bug and you start posting here, on DSM_SW and az2gnt. I have no idea how many DSMers there are on DSM_SW that are in Phoenix (a LOT), but we have at least 30 on az2gnt. Keep all your resources at your disposal and you will go far.

There is no project that cant be done. All the DSMers in AZ i know are more than willing to help with projects. From GST AWD Conversions to building 2.4's to throwing on a 200 shot of N2O. Its been done and done well. Some of us are usually go to the Pavillions on Saturday night and then head to Bell around 10 p.m. Where we meet with many other car enthusiasts and go grab a bite to eat while talking about projects, setting up a Video shoots etc. (Did one on Sunday Dec 4th will post it when its edited). We have some pretty wild setups on our cars so if you have any questions please ask. GL on the project!

hey guys i noticed you are going to get together and work on a car for a fellow DSM'r. Im not from around town but live in Yuma, Az and Im going to be going to the phoenix area for this weekend. I was wondering if the local DSM'ers could help me fix an electrical short i have in my gs-t. I keep blowing the fuse under the hood called Illumination room or some thing like that. Its the fuse right next to the rado fuse. I had not done any electrical work, this just happened all of the sudden. Also i was going to go to firebirdraceway for the SCO night but apperantly they got cancelled. Anything else to do in the big city of phoenix? Let me know guys if you are willing to lend a hand to a DSM owner in help. Thanks.

Whats up Dyablo! , Your in luck, I have a friend that specializes in electrical problems, and can figure out your problem to the wire! he's on dsm tuners under almazan85, I have to ask my buddy first to see what's up! he doesn't get out tof work till 8pm tonight, and I don't know if he's got anything going on tonight. Let me get with him, and if he doesn't have anything going on I'll let you know. Update:

I can't find the number of thanks to give to 95blackgsturbo for helping/mentoring me on this project. Shamelesly to say that my valves still knock at rev, I think I also bent my valves when I jumped timing. So I'll be having to take my head off here soon, and have it re-done, I'll keep everyone posted. Dyablo came down with some of his boys, Jessetalon as well, thanks guys for coming by and introducing yourselves... it's cool to meet all of you... I'll keep everyone posted on this project...

Yea to bad we were short one.... Blowing a tire at 80+ mph on the interstate is pretty fun though if you have never tried it.
