Going to track "Famoso"

Just heading to Famoso for a few runs. Wondering if anyone goes often or is gonna be there Friday 27. If you do happen to go... i'll be the guy with the red 2g. My first time at the track so bare with me if I clock 16's or worse. Expecting 3sec 60 foots . I'm having launch issues due to the lighten flywheel, don't know if that is an often problem with light flywheels and to big of a tire so I bog off the launch. Still learning to slip the clutch just right.!
Going with my buddies delsol turbo and my in law's evo X.
Car does feel like mid to low 14s but who knows because of the launch.
Just messing around before the big 16g goes in. Don't forget to say sup!

First time yo, it was fun and now i'm addicted...
don't laugh at my time since it was my first. I also adjusted my clutch pedal for more grip since the launch was killing me.

i was nervous since lined up with a nova who hit 12.74
Wheel hop like crazy in first. I let up and step on it again still wheel hop so I shifted to 2nd around 5.6k rpm
I didn't have time to look at my rpm so I just felt the engine... I was checking my boost gauge and it was hoovering around 20psi... FUG. Turned down to 10 psi on next run, lessen tire pressure...

I know this sucker has mid to low 14's written all over it... With better launch, less wheel hop I should be there. My trap speed was nice so I know I got much to go...
Any advice on this rookie will be great guys! How the heck do I prevent wheel hop.
I just hated the announcer... he was to bias... making fun of honda's and vtec. For n/a 4 cylinder you gotta give it to them cause not much domestic 4 cylinder n/a could do mid 14's on a daily basis.

Nice.. Ya you could have ran a bit better but your basically stock and running a 14.8 I think is about all u can get until you get a few more things! Do u have a 16g already? Or do u need to buy one?

Oh and shane I already have the big 16g. Just waiting to break into 14's before I put it on.

My 1/4 mile were run on 3/4 tank of texaco gas by the race track.
Since it was my first time just checking if I sign every right. I'm the guy behind my nephew.

This is my second run he didn't capture my first time ever at the track run. I debated and hesitate if I should of shifted to 4th so I kinda let off throttle. when I passed the marker I was only at 6.6k rpm.

My nephew's del sol turbo. stock d16z6 greddy turbo'd intercooled, 9 psi, tuned on neptune by rev speed of fresno. It's at 160whp and 137tq I think.

The one I went to no. They don't check drivers license but I think they suspect you should have one.
The other thing they check is inspection if you plan on racing. Like broken wheel stud, reservoir for your coolant, battery tie down stuff like that.

Cool. The two times I've ever been there I don't see much dsm. Only deviousgst and 1 other I don't know.
But if you did see a red 2g with carbon fiber gas lid that was me. But at the moment I took it off.
The last time I was there I had very very bad tranny mount and boost problems so I was running 16's all night. Next time I go I'll be sure to invite you. Majority of the time I go I'm the only eclipse regardless of generation. And the evo guys always think they are cooler so they never bother to chat
