Any DSMer's around LA, Long Beach, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Garden Grove

I just moved here, and haven't seen any DSMers around here, interested in starting kind of a Socal DSM club I guess since I don't have any DSM buddies here, i've only seen Honda's. My car isn't here yet (it's being shipped separately from Houston, TX. way more DSM's there as far as I can tell at this point) from my old address. But any DSMers from around here please post, I'm interested in having a meet when my car gets here ( about two weeks ). I'm from Santa Ana, close to Garden Grove.

Yeah, that's what I love about it, I just wanted to round up the few DSM's we have here, even if there are only 3-6, that's fine. Because fellow DSMers, there are a LOT of civics here as mentioned, and I think it's hunting season. 2G, where are you located? I'd be cool to meet up with at least one fellow DSMer around here.

btw my car is gone (at the junk yard) but im planning on getting another in like 2-3months another 2g gsx or possibly an evo.

I go to school at Cal Poly Pomona, and i stay in Diamond Bar. last year i was staying in Walnut.

You guys down for starting our own club? Maybe even open a shop later on? That way we get all kinds of cool hookups and stuff. I'm in the works talking to ARD (advancedracingdynamics.com) to try to get a shop opened in this area. All guys from this area please post, especially if you know all there is to know about DSM's and are handy with a wrench. Or since I know how frustrating DSM's can be, a hammer.

98silvergst showed me this thread, I'm interested in a meet. I think we should really organize one. So far including 98silvergst there's also 4 or 5 other dsmers I think would be interested.

Has anybody been on the calispeedway website? There are nighttime drag events on january 24th, february 7th and 28th. I think we should organize a meet for one of those days.

Well I'm new to this area, which is why I started the thread. As mentioned, I'd like to wait a month or so to see if we get more people. Then we could all go to Denny's or something get horrible service, wait forever for overpriced, undercooked food and talk about cars. Seriously though, my car hasn't even been shipped here yet, and i'd like to go when it gets here in about a week or two.

Awesome, this is coming together nicely. If we get a club together, can I be president? haha, j/k. Seriously, this is going to be awesome, so many DSM brothers togeher, I just feel so much love in the air! Ok, we gotta find a location to meet that is central, meaning not too far from all of us, so that not one of us has to drive like 2 hours, and another drives a minute. So keep posting locations guys if your'e interested so we can get this started by the end of Feb, beginning of March.

hey 2g did you ever go to a few motorcycle meets over there in hollywood right next to fatburger??? i remember seeing a black 2g gsx parked next to a grey civic . the 2g had a dsmtuners sticker on it .just wondering if it was you.since you posted that you are in hollywood. this was about two months ago.

I am in Costa Mesa, about 15min south of anaheim....i'm down for meets too


stock1g4g63: there is already a club called SoCalDSM
www.socal.dsm.org We do meets all the time, including screwing around at Dromo1 (an intense go-kart place) and weekend trips to Fontucky...etc. Get involved with that board and you'll learn that there is a lot more So Cal guys than you would think. A lot of them are on www.dsmtalk.com so not as many venture over here to tuners. So yeah, check that club out. Also, when it comes to parts, check out www.roadraceengineering.com if you get in with them, you'll get better prices through them than you would at wholesale...trust me A buddy of mine and myself do resale stuff as well and sometimes Road Race's price is just unbeatable.....so yeah, just some pointers for you since you're new out here
