I was driving to canyon country on saturday when i started the car there was a ticking noise coming from the engine but when it warmed up the noise went away so im driving on the freeway and the noise comes back and its LOAD then the car shuts off on me and it would'nt start again so can anyone help me???

hmm sounds like one of your lifters got loose and fell off. Take off you Valve Cover and see if all the lifters are where they are suppose to be

If it did fall out of place what do i have to replace just the lifters???

did you take off ALL the screws? even the ones near the spark plugs. If not take those off and pry it off using a flat head

yeah i took all the screws off and that shit is not coming off

like i said just stick a small flat head screw driver between the VC and head and pry it off. I had to do this too mine and its a 99. Your car is 14 years old you have to use some force
