Cheap paint&body shops in so-cal?

i went and got an estimate at macco, i have numerous small dings and imperfections, i think i counted like 8 or 9... for 2 year warennty paint and all body work, red and black two tone... it came out to 1005.38 including tax... i was hoping for about 300-400 dollars off that price...

it doesnt have to be super high quality, i just want the paint to last and have some sort of warenty... also are there any shops that finance? im sure there are some beaner body shops that charge less for minor body repairs... (im mexican... dont get offended...)

i just think i would rather get the car painted ever few years for 400 bucks than pay 1000 right now, and have to repaint in 4-5 years instead...

Well, just drive around your area looking for the shadiest shop you can find. Personally, 1,000 is damn cheap. A decent paint job is usually 2k or more, depending on who you use / what paint you use / where you get it / and of course the condition of the car. If you want a REALLy cheap paint job, go down past the border. Shit you can get your whole salvaged car fixed for a few hundred dollars there.
