Added Security in our Classifieds

Just so everyone is aware - we are not allowing Rookie members on our site (those with low reputation points) to post Classified ads on our site. This was done because we found that most of the complaints we saw were about people who had no posting history in our forums. It appeared that people were just registering in order to sell parts on our site. We felt that it was necessary to prevent people from doing this in order to cut back on the chance of scams. Now people must build up a good reputation in our forums before they can use our Classifieds system. This should help add more security to the system and make everyone more comfortable with their transactions.

Beware - if you are not a Rookie and you have less than 50 posts in our forums, and you receive bad Buyer/Seller feedback, you can be bumped down to Rookie status right away without warning. Many people with low post counts were given the benefit of the doubt and were granted "Registered" status when we created the Rookie group (due to how long they've been registered). However, if it appears that you are not an honest parts trader on our site, you will lose that privilege and will have to build your reputation up before you can use the Classifieds like all of the other newer members. We suggest you act responsibly when using our Classifieds.
