I'm thinking about switching up my interior a little bit and using that fabric paint to do the middle sections of my seats black...for a black/tan combo. I know this has been discussed before....just wondering what anyone that has done it used, and exactly how they did it? Did you just tape the section off and go at it or what? Any pics of your finished product would be great as well. Any advice/comments are welcome...

I know I've seen people on here talking about this before. I just got back from wal-mart and saw this upholstery spray paint...it's supposed to bond to the fabric and such. Doesn't anyone have any experience with it or have pictures??

I'd also like to know about this. I have the fugly faded multicolor w/ black middle and grey outside seats that look pretty bad. I'd like to dye the middle part all black.

I used a product called ColorBond from Bryndana on my leather seats, fabric, plastic piece, whole interior. Stuff if incredible. It comes in a spray can and soaks into the surface and bonds to it. It does not rub off, crack, or peal. It is almost like a dye except without the mess of mixing and it dries fast.

pics please. thanks.

where did you get it from? is that a local store?

I was hoping that the brown side was the restored side otherwise that seat might be a tad fugly.

Ok, who killed the animal in the car?!

Is that like... A dead tiger in your car or something?

OK, well does anyone else have pics of painted/dyed interiors they'd like to share? Maybe a little more "basic" if possible......;)

Dude, that is totally PIMPED OUT! Put the fuzzy dice with it along with a diamond in the back and reverse to 1975 and you would be the MAN! :D

this stuff sounds awesome!
does it go on every fabric?
like wut if i wanted to color a white tshirt red? would it wash off? is it taht durable?

I work at a body shop and we can get cloth/leather dye from our paint supplier. You could ask you're local shop if they'd order some for you.
