Pat, I think it was from the mis shift.

I am gonna try and salvage this 7 bolt first.

You'll be throwing in a six. That thing looks TOAST.

I thought mine was good enough, and it just ended up trashing my new 75 dollar rod bearings within 10 minutes.

How did that happen, I am assembling my motor this Thursday. I had my crank polished and checked for roundness. I also had the mains line bored as well as the rods resized. I am just wondering how you toasted your bearings in 10 minutes because I don't want to do the same!

ed, mine looks exactly like yours, it was basically from the the fact that the bottom end cant handle the 50 trim.


I strongly suggest going with a 6 bolt though

Ed, I just sent some JB weld down to your residence. Use equal portions of the steel and the hardener and you will be back and running in no time. Anyhow let me know how you make out with it. Let me know if you need more JB LB WELD!!

Well it is all back together and running good. We will see if she holds up.
