Princeton,
Alright I know the benifits of spraying nitrous into the engine will far out way cooling the intercooler, but what if you are doing some autoxing and want to chill the intercooler just before a race. You can buy paint ball gun co2 tanks from many places pretty cheap, they have a npt fitting on them, get and adpater run a braided line to a purge kit from the purge kit get some copper piping run like a rectangle around the intercooler and poke small holes in so will mist on. Just hit the button before a race instant cool, Co2 into engine is a bad idea right, so I'll probably be making a box for my filter. just some ideas so my sidemount doesn't heat soak should cost about 130$. to build being generous.
. i guess what happened was some little safety stem thing let lose to release the pressure in the bottle so it wouldn't explode. it was a pretty old bottle and i guess that's why.
. some paintball tanks come with what is called a antisyphon tube that lets you mount the bottle right side up and still get the same effect. Most tanks dont come with this offered but some do! I found that if you mount the bottle to the right of your right leg on the console down low it works fine and it stays out of the way!
I don't know if i am wrong or not. But spraying CO2 sounds good, but won't some of that go into the intake causing the combustion to not do as well. Seeming that CO2 puts out fires, will this hinder performance or no. Just wondering, but if it works i'll def look into getting one.
