Hope you have a lot of money. The swap will not be cheap seeing as the motor mounts are nowhere near the same. You need the motor/tranny/ecu and somebody to do ALL the wiring. A guy by the name of LightningMS here on the boards did the swap, he's told me it's been nothing but hell.

In short, sell the motor, use the money to buy a turbo kit.

as far as i can tell lightningMS's swap was failure, but who knows maybe if he wouldnt have taken it apart then it could have been a success maybe.

I would think it would be easier to upgrade the 420a motor and add a turbo than to swap them.

waste of time and money IMO....If I were you I'd find a 1g with no motor and swap into that

here's a better idea, put the motor into a honda. light car + 4g63t = vroom!

^^^ thats even harder than swapping into the rs, I'd guess

my thoughts: if he's going to go through all the pain of getting a 4g63t into a car that wasn't meant to hold it... why not put it into something that will show him some nice gains?
