Well, after a week of venting to the atmosphere, I have something to share. When venting, unpluging the pipe from the BOV to the pipe to the turbo. My car does not stall, yet the lights ticker on and off. For the fix, I adjusted the idol screw up more and now, after a week of testing, it doesn't even come close to stalling out anymore and I get the true sound of my 1g BOV. Oh yes though, I think this has something to do with if you have an auto/manual. While in Nuetrul, chances of stalling is much greater. Staying in gear will help not stalling out. I would like to experiement on my friends 97 GS-T and I will post the results. Well, I have not tried this on anyone elses 1g DSM, so i am not certain it works. I just wanted to share that I think I have found out why it stalls out.

Results: 1g automatics will not stall if you adjust the idol screw to raise the idol while venting to the atmosphere, while leaving it in gear.

Forgot to mention, I have noticed slight loss of throttle response.

Thanks!

Its still gonna make you run rich between shifts and drop your performance, so it doesnt really matter whether it doesnt stall.

so far, i still have not noticed change in the amount of gas i use, still 200 miles on a full tank, like always.
