Cyclone Intake explained (how to install using JDM ECU)

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

for those of you like me, who have tried to locate information about this cyclone intake, how to install it, hook it up, and run from the JDM ECU, this is explanation, assuming you have JDM engine.

The JDM engine should come with the cyclone intake and the white vacuum canister on the back of the manifold, what you will need is the butterfly actuator valve.

The JDM engine does not have an EGR valve. or EGR sylenoid. in order to make the cyclone run from the ECU all you have to do is place the butterfly sylenoid in place of the egr one.

the PIN outs on the JDM ecu, are identical to the EGR pinouts on the American ecu.

hope this helps someone
