Ok well I took the valve cover out of my 1g and I've been sanding it down and getting it ready to paint. What i'd like to do since my wheels are gun metal I plan on painting my intake, hard ic piping, and valve cover all gun metal. I've seen gunmetal wheel paint, but I don't think that could take the heat. Does anyone have any idea where I could find gun metal paint or if there is a clear coat that could protect paint that isn't high heat resistant?

Thanks
Rob

Regular rattle can crap holds up fine to valvecover heat. Just prep it nicely.
