Hey All! I'm brand new here, and just have one simple question for now... What's the deal with those "electronic superchargers"? How do they work, and DO they work?? Any information on them would be appreciated, thanks.

.....................................They suck!

All they do is supposedly turn the air thats going through your intake, therefore supposedly making more hp. Its junk! :|

Dude save your money for something worth a dam.

Thanks a lot guys... But, I have one person that says they suck, and another that says they're worth the money... Any other opinions?

The supportive post was sarcastic, that's some ebay shit. Look at real superchagers, it's more complicated than a wheel turning.

I'm fairly inexperienced with performance chips, but I've heard that JET makes some really good stuff... Their website is located here. Hope that helps..

Stuff that works gets used, and used _widely_. Bigger turbos, FMICs, exhaust systems, better tires all work, and very many people use them on many kinds of cars besides DSMs.

Have you ever seen an "electronic supercharger" on a car, or met anyone who's using one? It's a good idea to the intuition, but once you start doing the math -which I'm not good at- it just doesn't work in the real world.
