Can anyone tell me, definitely, which port on the 95 GSX master cylinder ( 1"0 bore) serves the front brakes?

This is being used on a car, 40 years older than a 95 Eclipse, which is the reason for the question.

Any help will be appreciated.

I posted this somewhere her before but can't find the thread (Even with'search")

I'm using a 95 GSX master cylinder on a 45 year old car to upgrade the brake system. Can anyone tell me what port on the MC serves the front brakes? Please don't pass an opinion, as I've had many of those. I need someone who definitely knows this system, to respond. thanks

Front goes to fronts. I don't know that I've run across a car that didn't, other than the early diagonal systems.

Are you certain about that? I thought that was the reason we bleed 2g awd brake systems in a diagonal fashion.
 
Ok, I found the thread after searching again........ mea culpa... ( I've seen that before, somewhere)...

So now the plot thickens. On the Mitsu newsgroup, I had a reply that fit my understanding of most systems, in that the port closest to the pedal actuator, goes to the front brakes. So, now there's the introduction of a diagonal brake system, ie front port to LF, RR and rear port to RF/LR, etc.
In this case, it wouldn'r make any difference which port I use to serve the front brakes, as they both function identically.

For the one who asked about what car, it's a 1964 Studebaker GT Hawk, front disk brakes (Dunlop) rear, non self energizing, 11", sort of a light duty truck style. This setup is original and does not use a proportioning valve. The original MC was a 1.0" bore, so I chose the Mitsu since it does also, plus it has remote fillers. The Hawk master is under the floor, attached to the frame and I hated, having to pull back the carpets and open the access hole in the floor to check the fluid,etc..
Along with the Mitsu master, I'm using a VL-3350 combo valve to balance the braking effort better. The metric lines from the Mitsu MC, all have adapters, to change to SAE and everything is installed, awaiting a shakedown..
 
No, not this time. I have a supercharged Avanti and a 55 President Sedan. So between the exciting and the sedate, sits the 64 Hawk. Some of these had factory installed Paxtons, but they are very rare and hard. Of course, the Stude community doesn't frown on a clone either. Many years ago, I owned a 57 Golden Hawk....... wish I still did...
 
The Golden Hawk was, and still is, quite the machine. And they could reveal the Avanti next week, and it would still look new. I helped put one together out of two, some decades ago. A train wreck surviving rear, and a rear-ended front. I don't want to know where that car is today. I had a pal who was a Studebaker dealer long after they'd left the continent.
