hey guys, just seein if there is anybody on here from NI/SM cause i just started to get into dsm (finally got one) and just seein whats up

Yeah, but I am from the other side of Indy... NW Indy has its times... but whatever... I only found one great DSM shop here, SDR in Merrillville/Hobart area...

How can you live there with the odor!? I have to roll the windows and switch to recirc whenever I drive through. I suppose you would get used to it.

This particular area (Michiana) sucks for DSMers. Alot of ricers, few 'tuners'.

In case anybody cares, there is a used car lot in Goshen called Pep Auto Sales, on 33. They always keep DSM's in stock. Right now they have a few 2gnt's, a some molested GST's in the back.

I stop by every time I see a new one (once every couple weeks). I am always looking for that decent 2gb GSX.

i agree about the ricers..seems like they are everywhere..especially if you go down 20 in mishawaka..theres a few tuners there, but mostly just posers

Oddly, every time I take 20, there is always this same ricer in a TRD tC that somehow finds me and tries to instigate a race. I never do, but it is funny when he tires of me not doing anything. He waves "bye bye" out the window and he tries to take off all quick. Quick like my momma's minivan.

Too bad there weren't more of us in Michiana. I am the only guy I know with a DSM (save for my buddy Kramer, who owns my old 1g, but he's not really a 'DSMer' yet.)

haha, man i know how that goes..its always some retard in a honda or somethin with a huge ass body kit and 8 inch muffler who tries to floor it around me and its just retarded..but yeah i agree, we need to dsmers, haha..then itd be fun to go there

hey guys..im from the fort wayne area and i really agree with the whole ricer thing its horrible round here!!!like i just bought my talon so i havent put much money in it yet but i can still bet have the wanna bes round here......but what would everyone on here think about a indiana michigan meet i now of a lot of tracks and places to go so..........jw....

Although I'm DSM'less right now, I'm still local My DD is a Forester XT, so at least I stayed in the turbo AWD crowd When I'm not broke anymore, I'm looking to get another DSM (I'm buying a house, that sucks you dry for a while).

No doubt. What part of town you buying in? I bought a home in a mildly ghetto part of town. Saved myself a buck! Except the neighborhood will never allow the value of the home to get very high. I will make a hell of a profit when I sell it, though.

I'm over in Mishawaka now. Its in a pretty good neighborhood, I think. I have lived close to the neighborhood for a year or so, but Mishawaka police won't give you crime stats on specific neighborhoods.

I would like to see local DSMer's and Suby owners getting together and actually race there cars (instead of just getting together and kicking each others tires). My buddy and I will be out at osceola dragway (http://www.osceoladragway.com) friday night (4/20/07) for test and tune. I'm showing up in my Forester and he will have his 04 STi. Hope to see you there.

There actually quite a bit of us in the Michiana area. Dsm's have exploded over the last 2 years seems like, see them everywhere now.

man, so there's all these guys on here, but i never see any dsm's on this side of town (by notre dame) except for this one guy with just a huge ass body kit and nothin else

Ohh don't get me wrong, I see plenty of DSM's. But most are either ricer NT's, or old people (hah) commuters. Not many enthusiasts.

And being one of those spacial types that is forever reading license plates, I would remember seeing your's around, NeEm06.

Of course, I don't get to South Bend but a few times a month.

I MAY show up at the OC strip as a spectator, (<--- Stock '99 NT, no point to race it) if I can get a sitter. Check my gallery, car is pretty plain. Shaved rear, exhaust, Elkhart plate, OZ rims. I did paint some things on the front bumper that I have not uploaded yet.

Well, I will have my 04 Forester XT and my buddy will have his 06 WRX TR out there. There was a little impromptu suby meet at Autozone last night, and the guys there said that they were going to show (2 STi's and a bugeye).

If nothing else, just show up to hang out or run your car. It is a test and tune night, and that is what I plan to do even though my Forester is nearly stock. Its always good to base line your car before you start messing with stuff. Its a great feeling to know that you shaved 2 seconds off your quarter

im up in kalamazoo michigan and i have yet to see a dsm ( besides the nt and the old people) any of you guy ever run up at US131 dragaway its on like 10 mins from my house. well i can make it in 10. i moved from Milwaukee area where there was one on every corner man i miss that

ive never been up there to run, but i have seen some races up there..its a nice ass track..maybe when i start building ill go up there

I went up there for the winter nationals. I used to go to Kalamazoo every once and a while to hit up Deja Vu but I haven't been up there in some time.

Is there an upcoming meet in Indiana? My friend was saying there was and we were gonna come from kc.
