My question is, my car's turbo set up is currently running a 14B. What does it take to upgrade to a 16G, is their any modifications that need done, or is it direct? What kind of difference would you notice going from a 14B to a 16G? Thanks alot guys.

Nope bolt it on. That rubber reducer on the mas MIGHT need to be removed but that depends on the inlet of your new 16g.
Have fun:D

Thanks alot! I didn't expect such a nice helpful answer that quick. Thanks again!

The 14b and 16g are both MHI (Mitsu) turbo's. T-25's, T-28's are Garrett turbo's. Did you ever notice how the compressor's (intake side of turbo) are different? MHI's point up, Garrett's point down.....

The only difference between the 14b/16g is the size of the compressor wheel is larger on the 16g. The turbine wheels are the same size.

You are running a N/T with a 14b? If so, you should be able to just slap the 16g in it's place. You will not, however, be able to run the same amount of boost without extra fuel support and tuning/monitoring capability.

You need to update your profile if it's not accurate.

With the proper tuning, the 16g will make a noticeable hp gain...

Technically, you'd want to port match the manifold outlet to match the larger inlet on the 7cm housing, otherwise 100% swap like everyone else said.

Well to be real picky You would want to use an Evo III exh mani with the factory fire ring to prevent gasket failures. seeing this is a Honda I think it will be fine unported manifold side.
