cant really find any threads on these turbos let me know what kinda power you guys are getting out of these turbos. influence my decision LOL

I would second what John said, the evoIII makes more power then the M trim & while some say their Vtrim pulls better then the evoIII, I believe SBR actually made more power with the evoIII in their turbo dynotest. From what I've heard the vtrim is very laggy for its size & they also tend to surge for many people (which seems strange, since they do spool slow...)

ive seen the evo III in action and it spools way too quick for a fwd i had problems with a small 16 at the track spinning 1 , 2 and some of 3rd so im looking for a little bit slower spooling

you guys will probably say get a 50 trim

Well if you want to help out traction abit a std bearing 50 trim may be the way to go as the power comes on more linear. But anymore power in a fwd without the proper mods probably won't be any better then the 16g you were running. Spend the money on things such as suspension, adjustable shocks, urthane motor mounts & most importantly a proper LSD. I've run my evoIII up to 22 psi on the street & traction isn't to much of an issue but my car has the proper supporting mods for a fwd :thumb: .

Yes I blew my evo III up and just put in a bullseye v trim. They spool up alot slower than the evo III, and yes it does surge alot. I get like full spool 3900 in second gear. I miss the 16g low end torque. But yes the vtrim does pull harder and longer like at only 12psi than the evo pulled at 16psi! But overall I miss the evo III streetablility.
