I did a search and found a thread talking about a faulty coolant temp sensor being a possible cause. I am unable to get to my car since I am at work but wanted to post my exact situation for any insight before I get back to try a few things.
95 GSX with 2.3L Stroker and 264/272 cams
One friend of mine said his and another friends cars would have a really though time starting in anything under 0 degrees with upgraded cams.
I need to replace my coolant temp sensor since the wiring was ripped out, it throws a CEL that I am able to clear with DSMlink if that helps at all.
My car wouldn't start while outside the transmission shop either but after they rolled it in and did the rebuild it fired right up, the batter was removed so all CEL's were removed. I just got the car back yesterday and it ran fine and even started up but it was only left unrunning for a couple hour here ands there, not 12 hours of below 0 temperature like last night.
my first idea was to clear the CTS and try to start again.
