Just wondering who's motor has the highest mileage on their motor without any type of rebuilding done to it. Mine lasted 150k.

130k on engine and car, 180k+ on Transmission. Both being replaced in Feb.

148k engine original 7 bolt, cant say the same for the tranny that went out at about 145k, funny because about 1k miles before the ACT2600 clutch was in...the tranny took its last breath.

172,000 mi - '91 TSI (RIP)

159,000+ '92 GS (current)

*Edit* Just hit 160,000 mi :)

Well the previous owner did a head swap on my motor so it had about 20 feet on it before it sent a rocker through the valve cover. I guess that may not win for longest running motor.

217,749 still going strong. I talked to the previous owner and he said to his knowledge that nothing has been touched. Numbers on the block and tranny match the VIN, so tranny has that many miles on it as well (occasional grind from 1-2 when cold).

149,xxx...stock 7 bolt, original tranny. Don't know how much farther she'll make it though.

im about to roll over 57,000 miles on mine..................:rocks: my tranny is currently being built though

My Friend just bought a Galant Vr-4 with 310,xxx on the original motor. The motor is blown now though. Me personaly am at 147,xxx in my 92 and 158,xxx in my 91.

I don't know if this counts... but when I was first looking around to buy my car, I found an N/T with 255,XXXmi. on it. It ran like crap, but everything was all original.
