Does anybody know how much it cost shep to get into the 7's. I'm guessing about $20K.

No one knows or cares. Doesn't even dyno his car and if he does he doesn't release numbers. People can speculate all they want but only he knows. I'm sure it didn't cost him all that much do to sponsorship and whatnot but if an average person were to build it, they would be looking at a lot of money.

Not unless you own a dynoshop you can infinately tune on. Even then no.

I think it costed him a little less than that. C'mon, the guy has to have hook-ups. I know guys that get aftermarket prototypes for free. Plus, I'm sure he buys in bulk. If you do all the work yourself, yea I think you can do it for 20k. That is if you have the knowledge and exp.

HAHA he doesn't get prototype's he gets what works. And doesn't buy in bulk. His shit don't break very often. And for 20K you could get a trans, transfercase, rearend, axles, driveshaft, rims and tires, MAYBE a shortblock. There is WAY more into that car than just a motor and big turbo.

Well..having a lottery ticket doesn't GUARENTEE you winning, right. You could have all the money in the world, but without the knowledge, you aren't going anywhere. Give me 20k to put into my car & I'd stll probably be lucky to get it into only the 12's. I don't know too much..haha
