Ahhhh, there 1G race FMIC...3" piping? I will be going with their Race FMIC with the 3" piping.

naw I went with the race fmic with 2.5" piping.

What turbo? Looks good.

turbo is a BB GT30R...I am just waiting on the engine to arrive...SBR took their sweet time to build it...this is like my last go at building a DSM...My farewell to the racing scene...after many broken parts and headaches I thought I had given up 11 months ago when my talon blew the engine...now it will live again one last time...after this its all over for me...so I hope this one lasts me a while.

Oh don't play. You know all that boost will have you hooked for quite a few more years. I would like to see a follow up on this thread for how everything goes after instal, and what you think of the 30R, and how the SBR FMIC is.

yeah for sure! I am getting the motor on wednesday and installing it as soon as I have some free time (hopefully done by the weekend), then I am doing the motoman breaking, tuning the car at fftec and trying to be done to take it to the track on the 29th to see what this baby can do...

Sounds good. Ill be going to my first day of college when you are at the track for the first time with the new set-up Would like to here how the motoman break-in goes, I figure it will be good. After the break-in how much boost are you going to be running? I will be going with a GT35R @30psi when my set-up is finished.

I will boost as much as I can without knocking...91 octane sucks balls, but hopefully the 50%water/50%alcohol helps me the way I want, but maybe 24-26psi. We just finished installing a SBR GT35R on my buddies '91 Talon...it was a pain, but we managed to fit it in there with a little kick, ...

For some reason the sound doesn't work but I said " This is how you install a GT35R on a 4g63"....and as my buddy jumps on the manifold I am cracking up and I finish it up with, "if the water lines dont want to fit, F*ck it, jump on the manifold...hilarious."

I think Ill take a bit more civil of an approach when installing mine, but I will also have everything out of the engine bay, so I can make modifications where needed.

I didn't have that many but I had a lot, but my mom threw them out. Oh well. So your engine still on time?

Yeah, it arrived at the final terminal today. I went to the UPS Freight Center to check it out and have them deliver it today but they told me I had to wait till tomorrow morning. The terminal is in another city 20 min away and since I don't have a truck, I couldn't do much more than look at the engine and wait. At least I know its here and it give me a little time to clean up my garage to be ready for the install tomorrow.
