My goals were 300awhp and to drive it home :D

Got 308hp/278tq and just got home! Woooot!

This is 19psi on an evo3 b16G - pump gas..

Mods that contribute to the power:
3" turbo-back, ported 2g mani, 38mm tial wastegate, evo3 b16g, hallman mbc, webb cams (272's), 680's, S-AFC, FMIC, ported O2, 255 pump, 3" intake, 2600 for the clutch.. I think that's about it...

Just wanted to share. I see a lot of threads asking about power with the E3. This is a genuine MHI E3B16G.

No, that's last season.. dying knockoff 16g, old crappy trans, etc...

I am going to drag day tomorrow (7/7) - the local DSM club rented the track for the whole day.. low 12's or bust :)

Thats very nice man. The torque seems a little low. My brother has the same set up with greddy emanage at 17psi and pulled 298whp 298lb torque. I bet you need a little timing control. The fuel curve seems a little jumpy too. Shouldnt the fuel line be a little smoother?
 
Looks good. The air/fuel ratio could be abit smoother but its not to bad, only varies about .5. Do you know what kind of airflow you were seeing and how much timing at redline? Defently nice looking curves.

i have a similar setup with u except the 650'c (im on 510cc) and 272 (im on 252 e3 stock cams)

Put mine on a dyno a few months ago, very similar setup but i have dsmlink, but i dont have cams. Only put down 260whp 266tq @ 19psi

Car wasnt running well at all, had to pull 2deg of timing to get it to stop knocking. Damn car never acts right when it needs to oh well

Your car is the black 1G with the 3G rims right? I could be thinking of someone else... Nice job at the track too if that was you.:thumb:
 
I think if you had the DSMLINK, you would of squeezed more power. Are you just using the SAFC to tune those 680's?? However, great numbers though.
 
very nice numbers for an e316g any idea of what your relavent temps were? (outside air, humidity, air intake temps?) if not its ok just curious because here in maine its averaging around 82 and about 70-80% humidity the past few weeks. just curious as to seeing what i would like to make by next spring.

I could of sworn he was well into the 12's. So many 1G's there and almost everyone was running at least mid-high 12's so I was getting confused.

Now that you said that I remember. But I remember my friend saying 'that's the claw's car' (because you know everyone in ccdsm talks in board names LOL)... if only I could remember which car that was... All I recall is that it was alot faster than it looked. But again, I could be confused... too many similar cars, too much sun exposer (sp?)

yea my bros 300whp was on stock cams also at a moddest 17psi. He is hitting about 28* timing at redline which we think is crazy. I think the tuner added timing instead of pulling timing out and adding boost. He said he would not go any higher on boost without race gas.

I notice most people that hit 300whp on the evo have 280 or less in torque. Why is this, my bros car hit 300/300 on both. Is this because of the timing. Ive heard the most timing advance you want is where you can get the most torque without knock. Is this tru.
