I've done a complete overhaul on my car. It has been down for three months. So far I have gotten my td06h on, my 28x10x3.5 fmic short route kit on, got my 3" turboback on, got my intake on, and did a few other little special mods to it.

I decided to clean her up today and take some pics. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think of it!

Now do you see why I wanted your bov recir. hose? ROFL theres no way I could have rigged something and it been functional.

looks nice but how well is it running with your bov not recirculating?? I'm sure that your car is off but in one of those pics is your dipstick out?

Looks awesome man.. always been a fan of the 2g's

The car ran like straight up poo without it being recirculated. It still does becuase I have some boost leaks somewhere.

The dipstick is in, the top of it is just broken off so I made a mark on the dipstick to know how far in it is supposed to go :)

dang dude, just noticed the dipstick LOL, will have to see if i have my old one laying around in the hatch too! LOL, Took some things out of mine today, looks like an engine/trans pull again. was hoping just yanking the motor, but guess not..

I feel your 3 month pain, I actually just got mines running after 4 months of not running congrats on yours just don't do what I did and leave the lights on cause your so happy it started and drain the battery. LOL worse feeling in the world.

Looks good man, you should run some ducting from the passenger side bumper opening to under the intake for a cold air-like intake. Other than that, good job and good luck getting it running 100%

I don't have a cover :(

I'm having a little bit of a hard time understand what you're trying to explain about running some ducting?

There is a mod you can do and remove some of the metal behind the headlight for cooler airflow. I did this with my car, I just wen out to home depot and they had some ducting that was probably 8" wide, 3-4" high and then closed up as it went farther in and ended up with a 4" opening. From there I connected some 4" flex tubing and called it a day after I bolted it down. If you check at home depot they have some good ducting. A good idea might be to take a sharpie or pen and hold some paper inside the bumper and draw the outline of it and go find something that fits. Luckily mine fit perfect, but you could make some out of sheetmetal too.:thumb:

Yeah I understand what you're talking about getting cooler air, but I was a little confused about how to run it. Damn, seems like it would be a PITA to make it.

Seems like im not the only person that thinks it sounds crazy to fabricate something like that

car looks very clean...are those new OEM heat shields on there over the manifold and turbo, or aftermarket?? mine are starting to show their age and i was looking to replace them.

It is a small hassle if you hate fabricating things, but thats what I like to do so I made the most of it and it only took a good 15 minutes with the bumper cover off to mount it all up and secure it. I figure that hardly any air gets through the headlights and giving it a ton of air is making sure it isn't starving for air.

That my friend would be an 8 year old heat shield. I painted it wiht some engine paint. Supposed to handle up to 1600º
