I just got the turbo on today but w/ some problems. The thing barely fit in there. Did any of you with the same turbo have a problem with the rear water fitting being too close to the block and being unable to secure the hose onto it? The rear water line keeps popping off because there's not enough clearance to slide the hose all the way onto the nipple.

Mine was oil cooled but i have never heard of anyone having problems with the water lines.

you may need to get a manifold spacer if this in fact the issue. on all of the turbos that ive run ive never had this issue. with some of the larger ones ive had to dent the water pipe to clear the compressor housing, but other then that never had a water line issue.

A spacer would be a good idea but then again the wastegate is already resting snugly on the fan (not the blade part.)

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about but my bullseye turbo is oil cooled only so I just bent and looped the water line back to the thermostat housing. I had to bend it quite a bit as it was hitting either the housing or the intake pipe, can't remember. I'm not talking about the large water pipe just the small water line coming from the water pipe, I think running out the bottom of the water pipe.

That's weird. I have the V-TRIM... It has two fittings for the coolant. Do I need them or can I just cap them off?

Most of Bullseye's turbos are available with the option of a dry or wet CHRA. Most people opt for the dry, simply because it's cheaper, but it appears trapspeed chose to go with the wet CHRA.

If it's water cooled I would definately hookup the water lines to turbo rather then capping them off. As it is since mine is not water cooled I have to let it site for awhile before I shut off. Yours shouldn't have that problem but I would still let it idle a bit before I shut off anyway.

As far as the water line see if you can bend it a little to make it fit but be careful not to break it cause its a pain to replace that line coming out of the water pipe to turbo. Mine was rusted on and for the life of me I couldn't get it off so rather then removing it I just tied it back to the thermostat housing. If I'm not being clear let me know and I'll see if I can get some pics of my install or maybe you can post a pic of your exact problem. I actually have my topend off the car at the moment so I can take some clearer pics.
