I need a drivers side rear axle for my 1995 Eagle Talon TSi Auto w/ LSD & ABS. I am going to call raxles tomorrow and some salvage yards but Advance, NAPA, and Auto Zone can't supposedly get them. Also are the left and right rear axle interchangeable? Thanks in advance Brodie

I just did this, but napa worked for me. Junk yard is your best bet. whats wrong iht yours ? CJ joint boots ripped ?

What did napa and auto zone tell you ? That sucks they dont have them.

I ruined mine when I was trying to take off a bad wheel bearing. I heated it up to much and messed up the spines.
My local NAPA said they aren't available and Autozone cant confirm that it is a rear axle in their catalog. What is your NAPA's phone number? I'd love to get it through NAPA. Thanks Brodie

Hey Brodiehass,
I just did my rears after discovering that they were almost completely disintegrated. I would recommend getting official Mitsu. axles from a dealer. Seriously I know that they are more expensive, but everything (even fluid) is included. When dealing with axles, why not get the best -- definetely avoid junkyard axles -- and save yourself future headaches? I got mine from South Park Mitsubishi in PA -- though they'll ship them to you -- and after removal of my old ones it was an easy job. Their phone # is 412-831-9137.
