so my car is back in the shop after the storm cause until now i wasnt able to find a place to get the work done

rebuilt 4g63t and transmission ( i did nothing to these cept the translab kit cause im auto)
new evoIII 16g
new evoIII exhaust mani
new 3.5" GM MAF
new MAFT
new O2 dump
new 3" Custom magnaflow exhaust
new Intercooler pipes

now my question is would 550cc injectors be fine with this setup?
do i need an safc? i read that 550's would be fine with just the MAFT.
am i missing anything important?
what would you add aside form a FMIC?

i have the standard stuff, guages, logger, blah blah blah.

first off its good to hear you guys are back up and running after the storm :thumb:. you dont really need a fmic even tho it will help alot. a supra side mount will do the job if you dont have the money for a fmic. the evoIII have been know to be too much for 550cc injectors so i would say go with 650's. also have fun running mid to low 12's with that set up.

those fuel injectors should be good. You will need a upgraded fuel pump and fuel preasure regulator. You could go stand along fuel management or a AFC its your choice and your pocket book on that. personally I would go with stand alone. depending on the hp you plan on having will decide which fuel pump you will need. no need for overkill in that regard.

WTF Standalone for a 16g, just stop.

Yeah, don't overkill on the pump says Mr Standalone. 550's and an AFC will be more than enough needed to get his car running excellent. Remember, these tuning things are just tools. You don't use a sledge hammer to to build a birdhouse.

Fuel regulator? Why? A 16g should only get a 190 as they're good for like 400hp, so why would that require an aftermarket regulator?

well, I think we all know that horsepower is addictive, he probably will eventually want to upgrade beyond what he has planned now. which means he will need those other mods. Chill with the personal insults when the man is asking opinions. Everyone has opinions, just like other things.....no need for us to act like it.

ok so i got the 650's can i tune these with just the MAFT?or should i get an Safc as well?

i have 255 fuel pump (stock regulator).

im not looking for anything too crazy just want a bit more ou of my daily driver since i had to invest the cash into it.

You have that pump installed on a stock regulator and the car runs? I was under the impression that the car wouldn't move if you did that.

well the car is still sitting in the shop but i didn't think there would be a problem with it running with the stock regulator. but if there is then i have no choice but to get an upgraded one :(

Well there's a few posts on this forum that describe what happens when you over fuel the stock regulator. You'll idle fine but as soon as you hit the gas you'll stall out.. I'm certain you won't make it out of the parking lot.

Don't let something like that stop your upgrading bro, the popular FPR is the Aeromotive, you can get it for about $195 here and it includes everything you need to install it. I'll also save you money and time, don't get the B&M.
