Just wanted to know what some of you think about the 3rd fast and furious coming out..... its suppose to take place in japan and be about drifting.

Drift yo!!! ROFL
i think it will suck just like the other two, but somehow ill end up watching it WTF

I think they need to make those a little more realistic. And about the 1st fast and the furious with the N/T Eclipse, WHAT A JOKE :tease: ! When does the movie come out. I will probably go see it just because its a movie about cars and i may get a few laughs out of it. I still think the best car movie is gone in 60 seconds. (I was born a mustang fan)

when i saw the first F&F i didn;t know a thing about dsms, and that car seemed perfectly fine to me, probably the same with 75%+ of the american population

While I can agree that the first 2 suck, I can still watch the first one and be entertained for some reason... although the 2nd is unwatchable.. bleh..

I like drifting, so if they do it right (I think that's an oxymoron with FNF?) it could be entertaining too. The only thing that I can foresee that might bug me is that they're supposedly filming it in L.A., so I don't know how they're going to make this dirty city look like Tokyo. I guess some crazy CG or something..

Heh.. maybe. The thing is though, i'm not talking about the style of architecture, i'm talking about the trash and dirt. I've never been to Japan, but know people that have, and have seen pics. That city seems clean, no trash on the streets or stains on the sidewalks, etc... Los Angeles in comparison, is pretty dirty. I guess to most people, it won't be noticeable, but since I live here, it'll probably seem weird to me.

I feel the same as most people actually do feel but don't want to admit it. At first I thought the first one was pretty good, then after a while it got old and everyone started dissing it. So many people liked it that is why there are a lot more people now that are starting to try and build 4 cylinders. I know if it wasn't for those movies I would probably be one of those punks running around in an ls1. I'm not really looking forward to this new one coming out, and I thought the second one was OK, but I will probably still go to see this one within the first week of it coming out. And I also believe U IS NOT YOU! Change your title man!

i agree....

when i first saw the first one i was just starting to get into the tuner thing, so i enjoyed it, then after watching year or whatever later i started noticing BS in the movie, like with the alum floor mat just breaks leaving a pretty view of the street (during the fast race in the movie) ROFL and a whole bunch of other stuff.

then the second one drop and i pretty much new it was BS but i still went to see it because its suppost to represent something i like. but even watching the commercial when it frist drop u could tell it sucked....damn cars jumping draw bridges, with lil to no damage...LOL. then the evo they had made me say WTF :notgood:

but most likely im gona go see this one also, why dont know, guess we just like watching stuff that has lil somthing to do with what we're into. wonder what cars they plan to use for this one.

i got one for you all tho, if u notice.......

how many times in both movies these guys shift gears..... they can be at 120-140mph and still shifting gears WTF
and there not down shifting....LOL damn.

and the title....my bad..... :)

LOL i noticed this too. They're drag racing from a stop and they start down shifting

I'm honestly excited to see the 3rd one...ive been excited to see everyone so far...the 1st one is deff the best and the one i can watch...the 2nd one is unbearbalble at times, but then i remember it's a movie not a documentary..it's purpose is to entertain...along with every movie for that matter

Agreed. Sure, this is the Hangout, but we're not retards up in here either. Kthanks.

Personally, I still enjoy the first one. The second one was idiotic and I've not seen it since the one time I rented it. I might check #3 out on DVD sometime, but I'm in no hurry. /shrug

People are always clowing the way TFATF was completely unrealistic. Granted, it was grossly fabricated, but the way I see it, if you wanted it to be an accurate depiction of real tuners, it would have to go one of two ways:

1. Serious tuners with sleeper cars rolling, without drama, to a closed course somewhere to take care of business and the average sheep out there aren't going to be entertained by reality. You'd think they would, but they're only interested in the distorted reality the media creates in the interest of selling airtime to conglomerates.

2. Typical street racer doosh bags. More body kits. More graphics. More stereo equipment. Talking like a lot of the newbies here post: yo dawg, wuz crakkin g dub? fo reelz? na mang on the heezy fo snap oh shizzle! And what high school graduate could sit through and hour and a half of that garbage? Certainly not I.

So I think the first one was the best one. It was entertaining, provides those of us with actual experience and knowledge with a wide variety of inside jokes to clown about with our buddies, and killed more Hondas than DSMs. Not that bad when you think about it.

No one will ever notice that "Tokyo" is populated with Chinese, eh?

Exactly. ^^^ This is not what entertains the general public. They are entertained by the fabricated and distorted version of the average "tuner" that TFATF provides.

If the movie was realistic, I'm sure most of us would like it more, but they would loose about 80% of their other audience as it would be boring and unentertaining to them.

yeah i hear you, its what catches the eye.
so to the movie goers, shifting gears 10 times on a straight away when at speeds of 140+ sells the sene, even if it seems crazy to us.

im gona go check it out when its comes out, and take my son, pretty sure he'll love it, he likes flashy lil cars, "car fast" quote my son....LOL.
we think about it, flashy looking cars are what probably got us into this whole thing. for a 6-13 year old or whatever, a plain dsm that runs 12-11's all day isnt going to catch their attention and have them like.... OMG
a car thats flashy, big shinny wheels and whatever else is what keeps their attention and gets them into the sport, then when they get older.... like us, they realize all that flash doesnt mean its always fast.

so when is it coming out? any trailers online to see? ill be the first one on line ready to watch the movie GO TEAM FAST AND FURIOUS!!!!! :rocks: :thumb:

For those asking when it's coming out, they haven't started filming yet, so i'd expect it late next year at the soonest.
