HIGH idle

hey guys i got a extremly high idle! it sits at about 1800. i mess with my biss screw, and i can turn it down as far as it will go and it still idles high!
the other day i took my TB apart to clean it!
think i put on one of the sensors wrong????

did you take off the throttle position sensor? If you did and didnt put it back on in the exact same spot then thats your problem

yeah so just keep putting it back on until i get the right idle!!

Just a suggestion, you could do it the right way that works?

I found this on a search that took 10 seconds or so. You would have easily found your answer if you tryed.

How does that not help you? If you took your TPS sensor off and just threw it back on, that could very well be it.

I think this link will work better for you TPS Adjustment

Plus on a side note. I would do a boost leak test. I was leaking in air through a lot of places and was idling high.

It could be alot of things...

He shows how to systematically pin it down and fix it.

did u use new tb gaskets? if not i bet thats your prob... leakin air.. replace em if you havint alaready
