I'm looking to get a mbc and people seem to keep saying that the joe p mbc is the way to go, but i am a believer in the philosophy that "you get what you pay for" but then i saw people saying they had lots of problems with the turbo xs dual stage mbc and the dejon tool dual stage mbc. can anyone recomend a good mbc? i would really like to be able to have two settings, but if the dual stage mbcs out there are junk then ill stay away from them. thanks.

I love the Jop Manual, i have had great luck with it. I have a 16g and running 14psi. MY friend has a dual stage Dejon tool, he has a T25. He really likes his too. So I would reccomend those two.

Yeah, an MBC is an MBC, two pressure fittings, ball check-valve thats spring loaded with a knob to adjust spring tension. I wanna show you something. Im gonna do this mod on my car.

Hallman mine held 15PSI ROCK SOLID (up to 5700RPM then it would fall to 13PSI to 7000RPM) never spiked or creeped on the T25

I would recommend Turbo XS Standard Boost Controller. Ive had this boost controller for some time now and its hasn't failed me yet.

but does it work well? does it fail? I have heard nothing bad about them, but the price seems so low, so it makes me skeptical. what about the turbo xs mbc? are there problems with those?

I liked the Boostvalve MBC better than my Joe P.

I have a homeade mbc that I bought off ebay for $13 Never had a problem with it. Boosting happily at 12 psi

Joe P is so homedepot it's sick.

All MBCs are the same. Some just have a chrome housing or a good looking bolt with a knob.

A bolt is a bolt, a ball is a ball, a spring is a spring, etc.

Make your own at homedepot for like 3 dollars like Joe P does.
