I don't understand why f*cking GT4 doesn't have a first generation DSM or a good Eclipse. I

was playing it the other day, and my friend won some stupid Volvo Wagon that would be the

most pointless car to EVER race in a video game. Why did GT4 waste their time making

useless cars and not cars that started the whole turbo AWD scene like first generation DSM's?

same reason its not in any other game... awd turbo is fulfilled by the 30 EVO's in the game... 1 - 8 and all the .5's too...

Because the second gen, the Galant VR-4 and the Evos 1-3 already have the same engine and all wheel drive. Why do they need one more car thats the same thing. Its like them having all the best of the best Hondas rather than going Civic DX, Civic EX, Civic Si, Civic Type R.

I don't know why this is still being discussed.

1. DSM's did not start the "turbo AWD" scene, they are about 20 years too young for that.

2. DSM's have no true racing heritage.

3. DSM's have no historic value whatsoever.

4. The only people that would be happy that they are in the game are the people that surf these DSM boards.

Okay, then wtf is the purpose of putting a 1984 Volvo in that game. Why would they put half those cars in that game. The stupid Nike car. I know they didn't start it but seriously, it's a car with hella potential for a video game. It just makes me mad when I see these POINTLESS cars in that game, a serious driving simulator, and not a 1g. I guess those are my hopeful feelings coming out.

YA! and why no Fiero, the Fiero is a historical car to say the least and I think it should be in there. :thumbdown

I guess it would have been a streach to fit every car ever made onto one disc? Come' on guys, lets just pray for gt5... maby there will be better technology than the DVD.

If you think about it , Evo III is actually a DSM that are here , but in 4 door .

Same suspantion , Same tranny , Same motor . What elce to you want .

BTW i got that insted of the GVR4 , cause it had 20 more HP .

Only thing is that It would be cool if they did manage to get more people working on this game and actually record the real sounds of the BOV's, Turbos, Exhaust Mod's on all this cars , So they would sound more realistic.
Like HKS sounds different then Blitz. But in the game they sound the same , Oh and you get the same HP , no matter where you go . Thanks what I noticed .

So if they really did not made it as close to real life ( case Hondas are fast in this game ) . The will not put nice cars that have a falowing in one spot of the world . Also Don't talk shit about Volvo , I have one 1979 V6 2.7l all aluminum 160HP furry .
Oh and Volvos are everywhere in the world and they use them for Rally racing , in sweden the drag race them
US DSM's are here in USA and they are Rare anywhere else .

Interesting uslles real life fact , That motor in my Volvo is the same one that you will find in a DeLorian . The reason is that Renolt Peugot and Volvo worked on that motor . Aslo Eagle Vition ( the scqere looking one ) has the same motor , but 3.0 just like the DeLorian .

The GT is the Japanese version I think. If you look, it has the amber tails so I imagine that's what they based it off of. And yeah, why an ESi and no TSi AWD. That REALLY pissed me off.

Personally im only upset because they only put in the crappy ones. The talon they put in is a fucin joke, the 96 or 95 eclipse is only fwd and other than that there is nothing worth while. I mean come on.... a friggin 165 hp dsm should never make it into the game period. If they are gonna put the time into sticking any eclipse/talons in there then they should put in the best.

It's the EDM version.

the game still kicks ass but it does need some mior tweaking like someone said.. i think the exhaust is one of the main things they should of worked on. like you should be able to hear the cam in the 800hp chevelle, i cant stand that it sounds like my skyline....as far as them not putting a 1g in it. there really isnt a good excuse for it. This game is a driving simulator that tried to focus on tuner cars somewhat this time, yea there is some of the most pointless cars ever in this game, good example....i did a pretty difficult race and ended up wining a 1800' something mercedes motor carrige, with 1hp, seriosuly thats a bunch of crap... I think it would be a good idea for GT5 is to have the gamers vote on some of the cars...

yeah, that car sucks but it rules at the same time. My friend had one in his garage so we figured we'd try it in the 1/4 mile, I think we were about 30 seconds into it and it wasn't even half way down. That made me just laugh for a good bit. We didn't even finish the 1/4 mile cause it took too long.


You want an example of a stupid car? How bout that Nike one? I don't think I'll ever try out that stupid thing.

Can you believe it, they actually paid Nike to come up with that car.

They also made a limited edition Nike version of GT4 that came with driving shoes and cost like $500. I saw it on EBay last month.

They had the uber-ghey 2g talon esi. Should have thrown in a 1g dsm just for the sheer fact that its such an enthusiast car.

They also should have included a foxbody mustang.

But hey, i guess some things had to go to make room for the Honda Odyssey and the 1984 Volvo.

Oh yeah, seeing a Honda Odyssey run 11's is vastly amusing. Something worth doing if you ever have the money.

A 2G GSX with 500hp would of been nice if it would of made it into the game

Sounds like you guys should send a plethora of emails to the game developer. Who knows, they might just do something cool for the DSM community.

I for one would like to see the TSI awd in the game myself.

I know this doesnt have to do nothing with GT4, but in Forza Motorsport they have the 98 Eagle Talon TSI AWD and 95 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX.
